Gary of Billabong talks about the new Revolution wetsuit. The first high-end chest zip by Billabong Girls. We can't tell you where to get it because it's not even out yet! You're gonna want to "ride" one though. And as mentioned in the video, you WILL get tons of complements in this stylish suit. It's flattering, comfortable, and most importantly, extra warm (and it was still 58-59 degree 4/3 weather)!
The NITRO suits by West are constructed from West Ultra-spab Gen-3 neoprene. The Nitro provides you with added features that similarly priced suits don’t offer, giving you more value for money. Oh, and they look good on too! For more info check out http://westsurfing.com/
Bird Rock Surf Shop is one of my favorite surf shops in San Diego. Not only do they have a huge selection of clothing and surf accessories, but they also have tons of boards and will shape you a custom board right in their shop. You can demo a large selection of boards to figure out the perfect shred stick for you, and even grab a fresh açai bowl at their new juice bar for a post-surf snack. Check them out at http://www.birdrocksurfshop.com/ for more info.
Camp Shred was a success as you might have seen from the @siempre_stoked Instagram. The San Elijo Campground was filled with the type of positive vibe felt when paddling out on a new board or in a new wetsuit, even if the surf was small. Lorenzo Diaz from Board Riders Review got some great video footage of the products tested by Siempre Stoked and friends. Check back soon for the full reviews on wetsuits by West, Billabong USA, surfboards by Global Surf Industries, Channel Islands, and SurfTech. Siempre Stoked also tested some accessories including Boardstix and Mick Fanning's signature sunscreen by Vertra, and more!
The Artemis 543MM V.12 Wetsuit has many special features that set it apart from other wetsuits. Named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, the Artemis is my number one choice for wave hunting in the winter. Having used 4/3mm wetsuits from Xcel, Rip Curl, and O'neill, I can honestly say this is the first suit that still looks and feels new after each use and I have never gotten cold thanks to the 5mm chest panel. Ideal in 50°-60° F. 10°-16° C. (This is an average. Adding a hood and booties will increase the range of water temps you can be comfortable in. Some people may find they can go colder or need thicker rubber for the same water temps depending on personal preferences.)
What's unique about Matuse? GEOPRENE!!
